Web Design Portfolio
One Horse Records
In January of 2010, I became a very proud and grateful employee of Vest Advertising, a full service ad agency and owner of One Horse Records, their very own songwriter record label. While redesigning the new OHR website, I came up with these design concepts.
Role: Web Design
ALAC Music
This website was developed for Audrey Cecil and Amanda Lucas - two singer/songwriters who teamed up to play some big shows together. I designed this website, inspired by the logo and some print materials provided by my colleague at Vest Advertising/One Horse Records. The site was developed using XHTML, CSS and Wordpress.
Role: Web Design, Front-End Development
Coding Hell
This website is still in development, but I can’t wait until it goes live! The site was designed for a good friend of mine who is a back-end programming genius. In fact, most of the back-end development is still under construction, so I'll keep the website idea a secret until it goes live ;). This site was developed using XHTML, CSS and Django.
Role: Logo Design, Web Design, Front-End Development
Ryli
RyliMusic.com was designed and developed for the purpose of sharing my music with the world. The site features an audio player and an online store so fans can easily listen and purchase merchandise. This website was developed using XHTML, CSS and a good deal of JQuery.
Role: Web Design, Front-End Development
CoffeeCup Software
This website concept was designed for CoffeeCup Software, in hopes to modernize the company’s brand and provide a better user experience for site visitors. One of the current issues is that it takes quite a few clicks to add a product to your cart, so I tried solving this issue by adding a simple drag and drop cart system with the cart status in the sidebar at all times.
Role: Web Design
CoffeeCup Software Themes
For about a year and a half, I spent some time cooking up some themes for various CoffeeCup Software applications. These themes range from simple form templates to full-blown HTML Editor themes that include a PSD of the design as well as the source code.

The Taco Aventure
This website was designed for a friend of mine who is entirely obsessed with tacos! The plan is still under way, but the blog was designed and developed for the purpose of allowing him to share his taco experiences and rate said tacos based on quality, size, taste, price, etc. If you're also a taco enthusiast, check back to find out when the website finally launches. The site is being developed using XHTML, CSS and likely Wordpress.
Role: Logo Design, Web Design, Front-End Development
Clint Allen
ClintAllen.com was designed and developed for a good friend of mine who just so happens to be an extremely impressive musician (his specialty is the Chapman Stick!). He came to me in need of a website presence so he could promote his various music projects and provide a way for fans to download his loops. This website was developed using XHTML, CSS and Wordpress.
Role: Logo Design, Web Design, Front-End Development, (Wordpress) Blog Integration and Content Management Setup
Relic Bluegrass
RelicBluegrass.com was designed and developed for a talented bluegrass group hailing from Louisville, Kentucky. They requested my services because they were in need of a more professional online presence to provide fans with a way to listen to their music, purchase merchandise and learn about upcoming shows. This website was developed using XHTML, CSS and Wordpress.
Role: Web Design, Front-End Development, (Wordpress) Blog Integration and Content Management Setup
Red, White and Something Blue Weddings
My dear sister recently started her own Wedding Coordination business and came to me in need of a brand, business cards and an online presence in hopes to expand her potential client base. The project is currently in production, but I plan to develop this website using XHTML, CSS, and Wordpress as a Content Management System.
Role: Logo Design, Business Card Design, Web Design and Front-End Development
My World In Shambles
MyWorldInShambles.com was designed and developed for my dear cousin and a few of her friends. These are intelligent women with great writing skills who mostly use this blog to share their thoughts and experiences in social work. This blog was developed using XHTML, CSS and Wordpress.
Role: Web Design, Front-End Development, (Wordpress) Blog Integration and Content Management Setup
Third Party Code
ThirdPartyCode.com was designed and developed over a year ago for the crew of tech savvy folks at Third Party Code who “Make technology work for your business, and your work day simpler”. They came to me in need of a brand, business cards and a website presence for their startup. This website was developed using XHTML and CSS.
Role: Logo Design, Web Design, Front-End Development
Imagine Fellowship
Kevin Joyce, Pastor and founder of Imagine Fellowship, came to me in need of an online presence in hopes to reach out to a larger audience, provide resources for his congregation and a blog to share his thoughts. He provided me with his goal, a beautiful logo and a few phrases like "clean, modern, whitespace". He was entirely pleased with the results and the website has been a huge success! It was developed with XHTML, CSS and Wordpress.

Deercreek Apartments
A few years ago, Deer Creek Apartments expressed their need for a web presence for their brand new apartment complex. The main purpose was to present information on their floorplans, provide photos of their apartments and provide their current residents with an easy way to access news updates.
Role: Web Design and Front-End Development
Squidzipper (by Squidoo)
A couple years back, Seth Godin came to me seeking a design for his new concept, "Squidzipper". This concept was extremely similar to his other quite successful website, Squidoo. Instead of creating "lenses" that provided information on people's general interests, Squidzipper provides detailed information on a geographical location, based on the zip code you enter into the search field. I worked on this with a good friend of mine, over at Jet A Studio!
Role: Web Design
Logo Design
Logo design is something that I have merely dabbled in, but its a form of design that I'd love to deal with on a more regular basis. Its amazing what a brand can do to set the mood for a company. And, to express as much of it as possible in one graphic is entirely exciting and quite challenging, which I much enjoy. Here are a few examples of what I've come up with in the past.
